I really don't like the idea. Because now Akuma is canon and official in Tekken history.

I thought that Namco/Bandai would be finished with expansion through discs. At least Capcom is trying to give you only one disc. Namco/Bandai is continuing where Capcom left off with new-disc-expansion. You should only need one disc to play the game. You shouldn't have to buy another disc for an expanded experience.

Wait... Tekken 7 isn't out on consoles yet though so??? It's more likely this will be available on the console release.

Akuma seems to be pretty important to the storyline here... Looks like there's a pretty healthy relationship between Namco and Capcom. Wonder if they're joining together, so Tekken and Street Fighter/Final Fight/etc. are in the same universe?
Seriously those guys need to stop punching each other's fists. That's going to do nothing but break their hands! Who aims to punching another guys fist?! :P

Perhaps this is what they've been talking about, waiting for the right time to do Tekken X Street Fighter? Maybe they're building up to that game.

Agreed. I am not sure to take this now with him havin some official belonging into their storyline like he always been there but not there. Wonders how come tekken dudes never been long ago crossed path with sf. Please dont anyone say well sf x tekken. Thats a whole nother situation. lol.
I am lookin at it just as a setup view to how tekken x Sf will play and look.

I love what they're doing here.

Heck, they're at least giving him something to do, he has a reason to be there, and they seem to be sticking with the Japanese voice actor, rather then a English one what's clearly 'phoning it in' like MvC3.

Most importantly, they're treating the character with respect.

Agreed. I'm excited to see how Akuma plays, if the other characters have SF influences and lauching 100 PERCENT BONAFIED PROJECTILES on Tekken! And don't give me that "But what about Kazuya's Eye Beam?!" :-??

Nope! Don't count...

Oh and let me say this with the upmost respect for the "Eternal Challenger" and my "Eternal Avatar"...I'm glad...it...wasn't...Ryu. He's awesome, but...he's everywhere. If street fighters are suddenly starting to show up, Akuma is a good place to start. Oh..and Raging Demon + Tekken =  :o

Do your best to become stronger. Become stronger, so you can do your best.

How can you dislike the idea? Finally, something new just happened. Akuma as a Kazumi friend (or whoever he might be) is something that makes the whole story interesting (since Mishima drama is so damn long) and maybe SF players and Tekken players will stop bitching about which game is better, more competitive, blah, blah.
