Unskippable Vs Intro?

Okay, I've tried over and over. I know it's possible, but I have yet to figure this thing out.
Memo created a system that lets you create a unskippible Vs Intro. I played his CVS Alpha game and I've read over the tutorial, but I can't seem to make it work.

Maybe it's the character that I'm using? I tried download K' from Kof 2002.

No matter how much I follow the tutorial, I just end up with a buggy piece of crap. :/
Can any of you guys help me out. Maybe rewrite Memo's tutorial with a little more details for a Mugen newbie.
I've tried over and over again to make him compatible, but it's just not happening.

I read somewhere that Rednavi said something about switching your character to Roundstate 2 and activating a intro from there. I don't really know how to go about doing so.

He states at the bottom of that rather bad tutorial that you can still skip things. Which makes sense, because that's an intended function and you can't stop the intro being skippable. What you have to do is allow the intro to complete instantly and enter the fight phase. Then freeze the timer and use helpers to display the rounds and fight animations and play the sounds. Both players will go through their intro at this point which is in roundstate 2 so you can't stop it.

It's a terrible workaround because many people would prefer to skip intros after they'd seen them once.

Yes, Cyanide's idea is way better an easier to add. Its just a matter to stop the time and put the animations you want.
You can use the normal intro to simulate that custom versus screens like in Megaman, where the boss jumps on the screen.
