Wasn't Ben Affleck a bit of a comic book geek as a kid? Surely he'd just HAD to know Batman the same way he'd know Daredevil. And it's no wonder he made such a great Daredevil.

We should remember also that Superman and Batman can't look epic together side by side if they aren't about the same height. Who would want a small looking Batman side by side with a six feet Superman?

And Ben Affleck happens to be 6'4 while Henry Cavill is 6'0 which is good enough.
