X-Men: First Class

I just got back from seeing it. And I must say, it's probably not the best Marvel film ever made, but I do think it's the best X-Men film ever made

The guys who played Xavier and Erik were perfect. Right up there with Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian. I was also surprised by Bacon as Shaw and the person who played Mystique, they were good as well. The first X-Men were also a lot of fun to watch as well as the Hellfire Club. Also, I change my opinion of Kelsie Grammer being the best Beast and say that this guy has it done right (now if only he didn't look like an angry blue chipmunk)

Storywise, I was kinda worried about it being too far away from the established continuity of the first three but the writers seemed to have done a pretty good job. I really enjoyed the scenes with Xavier and Erik as well as the "Gathering of the X-Men" Also the Wolverine cameo ... everyone in the theater laughed so hard at that

The only thing that kinda bugged me (aside from Beast's appearance) was when Angel (the mutant that was a stripper) joined the Hellfire Club, it seemed really forced to me.

So bottom line, if you enjoyed the films Marvel's been making lately and your a fan of X-Men, go see this movie.

I give it an 8/10

ok ... i dont see how this is in any way a good marvel movie. as was previously stated it follows a very inaccurate representation of the x men story that was established in other films . its like saying the fantastic 4 films were good ect

 holly wood didnt totaly screw up batman begins or sin city so why is it marvel has to mess it up so bad they end up making alternate storyline comics to be sold alongside the real story line comics after they make a movie ?!?!

i mean come on extinction agenda buy itself unpolluted  would be 4 movies with stuff left out and be basically what holly wood is trying to do but accurate. if you wana make x men first class thats a roster of cyclops , jean grey, ice man, beast and angel.

So you hate the film cause Cyclops, Jean, and Iceman weren't the first members

YOU CANNOT BLAME MARVEL FOR THIS MOVIE!
You can blame 20th Century Fox, who's produced all the xmen movies, and they are the ones who've screwd the contanuity up.
They just got to keep making movies or marvel will get the rites back.
If marvel made an X-men movie, they would have the forsight to make sure there was as little to complain about as possable.
