A heads up.

The Internet group Anonymous took action against Sony, and Sony is taking PSN down 'for maintenance' in intervals.

Anonymous is doing this because of Sony's attacks on Geo_Hot and graf_chokolo, who made CFW for the PS3.

I personally think Sony had no grounds at all at graf_chokolo, who didn't even enable any form of piracy, just Linux.

they didn't take it down for maintenance, that's what sony said just so the people wont pick up on the fact that they were in trouble. "Anonymous" crashed and attacked all of there domains one by one and is going to continue till sony decides to stop there attack on Geo and Graf or does a press release concerning the issue. so that means no more PSN till sony eases up on them.

exactly. The anonynous seem to forget that hacking is illegal. I don't understand why you'd get angry for sony getting mad at hackers.

I only hacked my PSP, but I would understand if Sony banned me, even though it would suck.

Allegedly, Anonymous has it's roots in 4chan, which was founded by "teenagers who wanted to act like adults acting like kids", to paraphrase. They're also defending something that is potentially illegal. You know, I get the feeling they're just throwing a temper tantrum, just like the kids they are.

This also has to be the most pressing issue in the USA today.

They aren't entirely morons, as they helped reveal many things, such as the Scientology crimes (beatings/murders and tax evasion) and...that's about it. Oh, and that old lady who threw an adult cat into a trash can. The woman responsible for throwing the puppies in the river has yet to be apprehended.

even tho i dont have PSN....YET on ps3...just on psp. they definetly are making it worse. defending people for doing something totally wrong is ridculous. but last not forget when people do wrong things they claim it in the name of justice...as where hacking a companies FW and putting it on blast openly when known to be against company regulations is ...justice.

sorry but there are some very poor and homeless people out here that needs my 5 bucks contribution than some hackers who got caught. just saying but hey, it is what it is.

if i owned a company and a hacker hacked my company and put my suff on blast...your messing with my MONEY!!!!
