Devil May Cry live action movie coming from RE movie Director

this can be either "ok" or "really bad". im assuming they gonna go the "Afterlife" style to make the movie i guess .

I dont think Capcom would have picked anyone else to direct it. They seem to be really pleased with the RE director. I can say Zack snyder but he has his fan full and more than likely would pass on the project. But honestly i only liked 2 of em. FOR ENTERTAINMENT and nothing more. the 1st resident evil and the 3rd one "Extinction". i can go all day how those movies arent resident evil but if those movies were named somethin else then it would be just cool for what it is. lets just say i rather watch those two RE movies and even after life instead of House of the dead. and yes im dead a$$ serious

I think we're the only ones who knew first about the production comin' up. All of a sudden, in 2005, there was no announcement for the DMC production yet. Later, I watched STC (Soundtrack Channel) on TV showing that Heath Ledger was confirmed to play the Joker in the Dark Knight (2008). I didn't know he was dead until a year later. Now DMC is in production? It's been a long time.

Man, my computer is acting too super slow when I type this. I get this problem when I use my laptop. Darn this computer.

well actually youre right because at one time it was mentioned in Egm er maybe xbox magazine with the coming of the Silent hill movie. Tekken was also mentioned so im pretty sure we saw the same scoop. Soul calibur is another film coming. Metal gear and Metroid was supposed to happen also but it faded into the darkness. so this here has me like "oh..they were serious ". Well i hope they dont screw it up. it could be hot and then it could a "Hot mess". eh anyway better to has the RE movies dir than UWE boll. that cat makes great horror and other normal movies but videogame flicks naw...hes the devil and dont care!!

Hmmm seems like it could be cool if the story is done right and its given a duration to tell said story(at least a 2 hour movie).

I just hope that Johnny Yong Bosch atleast has a part in the movie cause he is a hell of a fighter and has voice Nero

i think they can actually make a good film if they use the dmc3 story. to me it has the best storyline and is well how it all started. they can also add things in since the game was the advancement through the teminigru with dante they can fill  the in betweens of the boss battles  with whats going on with vergil, mary, and arkham

If it is doing DMC3's story...my guess is he will probably slaughter the demons quickly. I fear they'll probably lack the personality from the games though. Still if they don't mess Dante and Vergil up, hey it could be good. *crosses finger very tight*

That may work.  Lets hope they don't use the story from DmC(whatever that is).

I agree with DeMoNk@I. I'm afraid many unexperienced videogame film directors including Uwe Boll would treat videogame-based films like old videogames such as NES and other oldies' style. Gosh! Those guys should stop. Only a few good movies I know are Mortal Kombat I and 2 Tomb Raider movies.
