MAJOR old old 80s video game show

Yo i kept forgetting to bring this up but im gonna look some more online now to see if i can find it.

do yall remember the name of that videogame show on Channel 9 on weekday mournings BACK in the late 80s where there was this hyper active gamer host dude who shared Gaming tips, showed nintendo power tips, new game debutes, and then had the kids run through a game store to snatch up as many Video games and accessories as possible to win and keep all they grabbed up? and yeh their mascot cartoon was i think this team with Narc, The angry Tomato head & Big foot (he talked like Kitt from night rider)

WTF was the name of that d@mn show!!

anyway it was somethin random that popped in my head and i did thought about this some years before but never had a chance to look it up online

d@mn..watchin that video of the gameshow makes me wanna just return to the 80s as a kid with my memories wiped of everything happening today smh. Megaman 3 was the first nes game got for myself release day with my allowance. i saved up to do that and ill never forget it Epic

OMG this IS a blast from the past!!! I grew up on this show, man! Ah, great memories. But hold up, you sure it didn't air on NBC every Saturday mornings? I don't recall Channel 9 every having any cartoon programs in the morning during the 80's....

Where I lived, the game show didnt air very long, but the cartoon did, i watched that cartoon all the time. When i was younger i would sometimes pretend my nes games were guns that zaped baddys that poped into the real world, just like in the cartoon.

Or i would get my zaper and a controller and pretend i was Captain N





It would have been nice if the artists actualy played video games and got the characters to look right....

i always wished i was that kid that got a chance to run through that show and grab mad nintendo games and hook them to the vest !! that show brings back memories. and i'm also guessing some of us used to run around with the zapper and controller around our waists too hahaha

Man, I loved Captain N! Sure Character depiction was off, but hey it was entertaining, a nd one of the few cartoons related to games 

Since we're going back, gotta shout out the Super Mario Bros. Show. Where else can you see two slumbers rapping in the intro?   

Naw, but on a real this show was pretty good, and had some decent action and adventures. Just wish my boy Toad kicked more butt, since he was a powerhouse in Super Mario Bros. II.

Then there was the Legend of Zelda cartoon. It was ok, but could've been better, like more (better) action, less love/hayes between Link and Zelda, etc. Still, it was one of a kind when I was young and had me glued to the TV.
