Looks good but i really wish they would have concluded the series b4 the reboot. Im not looking 4forward to this game and i grew up with Castlevania. Its like mario and sonic to me.

i thought the same thing when those new castlevaina games came out on the DS some years ago and i totally changed my mind after i played

so i wanna see whats up....

i always liked the music plus That dudes whip action looks too funky. plus its hella bloody so this one imma have to buy...
well thats until i read or see somethin thats not very tasteful

i made a topicabout this a while ago bt yea im real excited a reboot is what the series needed the story was getting really japanese in that there was

of pointless stuff going on in my eyes (u know like the countless animes with more filler than events) there are lots of other games that could go this route

I agree with you to some degree. The Story hang way to much going on just unlike most things that have five million stoies, parts, etc. they did a good job holding the stories together. The only F'd up part in the 20+ castle stories were the ones released on N64.

I saw this trailer a few months ago on youtube. I am gettin it!!!! it about time they brought this game to the light and i for one who is very nostalgic about castlevania have been waiting for a reboot updated version . I usually dont agree much on games that i hve a passion for gettin redone and then they get all jacked up. but something like this (so far) to me seems like it can be a worthy game. It looks to me to have a god of war / devil may cry flair to it and that to me seems like a plus. Graphics wise...

!! it looks beautiful and now i just gotta get it in my hands to see how it really plays apart from video shots. I am lookin forward to this one.

plus.. the whip looks awesome!

Im buying it, they need to do

more games like this and Castle was one of them. For some reason, I think games are brought into the full potential somewhat when they are made like this. Plus giant bosses are a huge bonus in any game.

hell yeh ya hit it right on the nose with that N64 version. it was the worst . the one that never came out for Dreamcast looked way better than those N64 versions .

But anyway yeh. The best Castlevania of all time and most of yall know is Symphony of the night . But this one is lookin flavaful though so i wanna see whats instored

As for the stories yeh i felt that way when the Gameboy advance versions and SP ones came out. But the DS ones got me back into Castlevania a bit ....

Thats the bad part to me. its doesnt look like castlevania from the trailer. Its more God of war'ish, etc. The thing that made castle so good was the style approch, game play, the that wonderful music.

Just gotta wait and see how this fairs

the only god of war thing in it is the weapon, its a cross with a chain so its similar yet castlevania used these weapons way b4 than gow so its mostly fanboyism kicking in really, how else would a 3d castlevania look or play? the stiffness, huge scenarios, big monsters, medieval look are all there even more than previous 3d versions

So that in a Nut shell peeps tells us This Castlevania is Gonna be da sh*t in 2010. Kojima stamped his infamous name on it so im sure he sees some power behind this one. But i still wanna see more. Although im gonna get it anyway cuz i love castlevania

Aside from the gameplay Im sure the soundtrack is gonna be epic and tight as usual..

Even though this game doesn't look like Castlevania at all, whatever Hideo Kojima touches ends up becoming gold. LIke ZOE and MGS. I probably won't like it too much compared to other Castlevanias like Symphony of The Night and Aria of Sorrow, but I'll still like it as a game.

I cant see why it would be bad, PS2 had 2 Castlevania games and they both was good. I dont see why this one would be any different.

Like i said before that whip action looked too ill to me..he was kickin @ss with it in the trailer.
The game is gonna be hot. i just want it to be good n long and not short...

Not gonna lie I really miss SYpha and Grant from Part 3 on nes. I mean sypha was my main choice in 3 but it would be cool to see them Make a cool appearance like Trevor Belmont did on the Ps2 in "Curse of Darkness"

but again im sure the music selection for this one should be interestin as usual ...

i doubt well see any appearances like that here as this is a reboot the belmonts might not even exist in this new timeline as ive heard no mention of them but they really havent mattered since dracula x neway

Well hopefully we will get some memorable characters for this new reboot like the Past Original Castlevania essence were.
Konami usually delivers some sh*t outta no where. But eh....im gettin the game anyway regardless

Well I just liked Aria and Symphony because those were pretty much the definitive Castlevania games. I tried to play Curse of Darkness but aside from the music, I didn't care for it at all. CCoD was dreadfully boring.

D@mn i thought it was just me who felt Curse of Darkness was a tad bit boring?
And yeh actually the soundtrack was the best part about the game youre right

dawn of sorrow was the only good handheld castlevania and in the top 3 castlevania games along with sotn and super castlevania 4 but im confident this new one will be up there it looks like theres

production value being put into it
