I really want to do something for this site

I was wondering. I really like this forum cause of all the friendly peeps here. And I just didnt want to freeload off this forum. So i want to be of use to this forum and help out as best I can. I really like Mugen and I have ideas for a slew of mugen chars. I was wondering if someone could be like my mugen character creation guru and very deatiing go over with me how to make a character. My aim screename is darksonicrider (if you need me to make a yahoo thingy or something else, let me know)

I suggest that you read the docs that came with your mugen....also you could read some tutorials.....and if you have an specific question I will try to help you

Thanks! the coding is just hard and not every tutorial (i seen so far) covers the topics i need but I wont be starting soon im mapping out what imma do. How does Ultimate Magneto sound? (in ur honest opinion)

coding its not that hard.....you should check  the kfm, it has some explanations of the codes


You should make the char that you want....if you like what you do.....you will do things better

I have a quick question, I want to give my magneto a super that accords to his power (Magnetic Field) Which randomly attracts or repels a foe for about 30 secs. I was wondering, do u know a code that has such characteristics?

Thats a little complex....I think that you could use a helper (add him blue clsn)...and use the helper to push the enemy.....or iyou can send the enemy to a custom state, and controll the velocities of the opponent

is there any hardware that should be brought before making a character. i ask because i downloaded fighter factory and when i try to upload sprites from a folder it dosent let me.

no.. there aint anything thatu have to buy just to make FF work... but that is weird that it did that, where did you download FF from?

This is weird, are you sure that u didnt make a mistake?

dont know why it dosent work i downloaded ff from random select i think. could it be that i get my sprites from kongs downloadable sprites are they private sprites or something

no, kongs stuff is public (or atleast thats what I think I heard)

try redownloading FF 
and then try it

Maybe the issue is that the sprites arent in pcx format.

Dont run before you learn to walk....when you have all the sprites an animations, for that attack, let m,e know, and I will try to guide you

well im starting on that now, Im using mag's xcota sprites and animation (since im a beginner and dont have creativity yet, hope people like it) so it shouldn't take long. Hopefully someone will let me use his MP and MK sprites. Thanks a bunch!!

I have a whole bunch of char ideas but I really need help with the coding, I want to contribute to this site so bad, but i can't code to save my life. If anyone would be kind enough to help my aim is sonosuoginyuob. Hopefully someone will help and I can share my thoughts with the rest of you guys

Also, I suggest you using KFM as a base for your char. It will help you a lot, plus you can customize him a lot. Magneto looks like a complex char right now, maybe you can begin by coding the basic stuff, as Fallen Angel told you.

Hey KageSempai, I see you starting off character creating just like me when I first got here. Believe me, its mid-range difficult, but we all have to start somewhere. IF you don't mind, maybe we can help each other out. My screenname is MegaManXFlcn. I could use some help myself. Maybe we can work through it together. I"m working on a MvC version of MKT ninjas.
