help with stage

i just got a stage from RB2. its Joe Higashi's stage Thailand Ring by Basara-kun. when ever i try to play in it says

error message:
BG error reading stage joeRB2.def

Library error message: Error reading sprite stages\joeRB2.sff

why does it say this?

Change \ for / in the def file, in the sprites section.
