???Tell the truth???

I would like to know the honest truth on how some of you guys feel about The BOR/Openbor engine. It's a 2d beat em' up engine. I heard that some of the "mugen guys" said that this engine sucks!
I just wanna clear some things and really find out how you guys feel.

its a cool beat em up engine that´s all why bitching about it. Its like the "mugen" of the beat em ups.... i played many games of it i think even bfore mugen.

yeah i've tried mentioning this stuff to friends, but it doesn't seem to catch on.
it is plain and simply (and already said) the MUGEN of beat em' ups

and I think it goes hand-in-hand with MUGEN, it's like peanut butter and jelly.

i dont have seen it to have the potential to recreate, accurately, for example, D&D shadow over mystara.

I dont konw if it could be really done on that engine. If that engine can´t do that, it´s far worse than mugen even if mugen has very well known limitations.

It's not fair to compare BoR to Mugen it that that work in completely different enviroments. Like was mentioned, Mugen is the 2D vs fighter, where BoR is the 2D Beat em' Up.

That having been said though, BoR is good at what it does. Best example I can give you is A Tale of Vengence. ATOV has a combo counter, blocking, 3 special attacks per character, and a special meter for using those attacks which can be recovered with combos (Instead of taking away from health, which I always hated in other games).

MY point was: has Bor the potential as an engine, to make D&D SOM accurately?.
