Hello. :)

I have a problem with my mugen, ~X(
play goes off the screen and displays a text box:

"Assert failure in array.h line 110"

HI AND WELCOME TOO MUGEN PLEASE TO MEET YOU  :)

But no really sum1 may be able to help you. From what i know mugen crash every so often because its a beta. But tell use exactly what happens.

does it just go down every once in a while?

When you play with a certain character

Maybe a stage or song?

It's a problem with the air file. Open up the air file in Note pad and look for the begin action 110(in this case) and see if there are any problems use the other actions as a base to see if the information is coded correctly.

EXAMPLE DO NOT COPY INTO THE CHARACTER!!!

Clsn2Default: 3
  Clsn2[0] = -17, -78, -1, -64
  Clsn2[1] = -37, -69, 13, -42

see notice on the first line I removed the 6. Thats what I mean make sure all the numbers are there and are lined up.

Also by googling  the CLSN default could be formatted incorrectly. Every action has a CLSN default. But in some chars it looks like this  (Example don't copy/paste the number just look at the difference)
Code: [Select]
Clsn2Default= 2when they should look like this  
Code: [Select]
Clsn2Default: 2. Notice that the corrected one has a
Code: [Select]
: instead of a
Code: [Select]
=. Those could be some of the problems but the error relates to the air file on the 110 action.

I googled the error message. Plus to get that code snippet at the top all you have to do is open the .air file in note pad. Its simple stuff. Fighter Factory is just a visual representation of that code. So instead of just seeing the code like through notepad it takes the sprites from the .SFF and places them  in conjunction with the air file coding. But google is your best friend 95% of the time.

EDIT: That code snippet from up top came from a random char in my Winmugen plus.
