Yeah, but it's a fan made project like the Rockman 10.

If only there would be a real Megaman X9 retro style just like the SNES versions, those are the only X games I actually liked. Even if this was released as just a fan game and was of good quality I would still be happy. The SNES games had better levels, music and gameplay all around and this just makes me shed a tear of what once was....I miss those golden years of 16-bit gaming.

Yeah, SNes and PSX had the best Rockman Xs.  I just wish I had the ability to make my own fan made project like what Mega Phil does.

Same here, as I would love to be able to create a fan game like this and make it a project for my forum.

It would be tight as hell to see a Mugen made just for 2d platforms.

That's what I was thinking, something along the lines of a mugen engine, but for these types of games instead so people could create all kinds of sidescroller games like Super Mario, Megaman, Contra, Castlevania..etc. A engine that would somewhat simplify the process and not be a such a headache to figure out. I know there are programs out there, but they end up being a hassle.

On the real, "MegaMan 21XX: ME" is the coolest fan made MegaMan game yet. I can't run it anymore though cause the crappy video driver on my laptop won't let me fullscreen dos based programs, it memory dumps everytime.

Sweet, I wonder if he will make it open source when completed so we can make our own NES Megaman games.

If anyone gets a hold of the MMF2 program, then you can create your own Rockman game.  Maybe a torrent is available for it.  You can edit any design from any games.  I think people also use this to mod games too.

Here is one link http://www.clickteam.com/eng/mmf2.php but I'm not sure if it is at torrent yet.  I would need a hack for this program.

I tried to download a torrent of this, but just got a virus instead so I think I will pass on it. Or just buy it.

Your welcome, I'm pretty wary about torrents...programs like these usually are just viruses if you try to get them through a torrent. I hate it that people do that. I thought about trying another one, but just don't want to risk it. There really needs to be some freeware program like this for everyone to use..just like mugen.

Yeah, I will so like to create my own Rockman X until Rockman X9 comes out.  When I asked MegaPhil he said he used that MMF2 program, but I'm not sure if he paid full price for it.

Probably paid for it as I have not seen a legit download of this anywhere. I figure if someone is really serious about using this program then just pay for it. It's not worth getting a virus over...especially with that nasty conficker worm out there right now.
