Hmmmn, I dont want to say no because chemistry is more important than having things in common. If you have chemistry youll eventually wear off on each other over time. The thing I noticed in dating over the years was the women I thought I had every in common with, and was ga ga over had the most potential problems. Sooner of later if you have too much in common you start to rival one another.

If a woman doesnt have a lot in common with you, but likes you chances are she see's something beyond your exterior illusions that she's attracted to which means she might see beyond the superficial. Again it depends on the person. Ive had some real b*tches date me just for the thrill of being with someone they thought was "differant" and when the newness wore off, it was over. You just gotta watch out for that vibe from just about anybody.

When I would get the boot, sure I'd get upset, but after a week or 2 I just looked at it as an opportunity to meet someone else new, and exciting. After all who would want a Mugen roster with only one character?

Naw, me and my girl really have nothing in common but we love eachother. I'm not the one to fall for someone so fast, but I fell for her pretty fast. She's different from the other girls I dated (for one, she's not hyper retarded, ).

I hear ya, but thats what I call fleeting. There is no defeat, only the next battle. You have to luv yourself, and you cant let failed relationships tear you down. You cant truly luv unless you love yourself.

how can you just say pick yourself up if everytime you have been rejected, a part of your confidence is destroyed? true enough you have to get over it, but for people who are like this eventually get the mindset that everyone is just going to reject them. so actually it depends on what is meant by true love. is it between two people or just yourself or something else.

I cant answer for you, I never give up thats just who I am. You cant assume everyones going to reject you. If they are then you have to take a hard look at yourself, and figure out why. Sometimes you have to make changes, thats life.

I gotta believe if being rejected tears someone down that much, that they might be more in luv with the "idea" of being in luv rather than actually being in love. Women are people too, and there looking for the right guy for themselves, sometime were not the right one, but you cant get from point A-B without trying. I think people gotta take their time falling in luv. I know guys that will fall in luv with a chick after 1 date, just because the girl gave them the time of day, and thats chik repellent BIG TIME.

You have to take your time, and not get to emotionally invested too quick. People arent so quick to get involved for life when their young, and with a 90% divorce rate who can blame them? Each time I was in love was a life altering, valuable experience, and some of those times I got hurt, but I wouldnt change it for the World. It sux when it ends, but what a ride. Its the only way there is to find the right person is trial, and error. There is no majical roadmap

Someday you will look back on the past, and be glad you had the experiences you had. I really enjoy my memories, and I think of the good times I had with my ex's. My wife hates it, but over the years a lot of my ex girlfriends and I burried the hatchet, and we chit chat out at the bars sometimes and its nice to have them as loose aqauintances.
