Error Message - MUGEN shuts down randomly

When I'm playing in Arcade mode, MUGEN occasionally shuts down and gives me the error message:

"Assert failure in charsel.c line 3162"

Specifically, I will be playing as normal, and before the VS screen appears, MUGEN shuts down and I receive this message.

I've gone through and selected each character, so I know they all are functional. As far as I can tell, it's not related to order= (happened as soon as the first match, as late as the ninth).

I'm using BROKENmugen sp, with one additional row of hidden characters on the bottom. All the spots are filled except three.

Here is the select info I modified in the system.def :

Help with this would be great. I've tried everything in my limited MUGEN knowledge. Thanks!

AI.RandomColor = 1

In the AI Random Color make sure it says 1 NOT 0.If it's Zero change it to 1 like I did in the Mugen CFG.I hope this helps you.
