I get this message

Error Message: Can't find file font/qoh_big.fnt
Error Loading system data: data/system.def

what in the world is going on???

Sound like a font file is missing or misspelled in the system.def.

Yep...check arround the font folders and see if you find that font that appears to be missing or have a diff name

yeah, that file was missing. I had copied my whole mugen folder to another HDD, did a system restore, erased my main mugen folder, and tried to run the one i copied to my extra HDD, and the copy didn't copy everything. Luckily I had another copy of mugen on a DVD #:-S
