It's not sloppy, but it's simple. Kinda meh, but doesn't suck.

Flash introductions are kinda overrated.

I really hope that you are tweening image mask as anything else would end up being huge. Also, the gradient is annoying. Text should probably be passed in with Flashvars.

You also should be using SIFR or SWFobject libraries for flash insertion that dies gracefully.
