im new to mugen,any place where u can get zip files that actually work

       im truly going out of my mind trying to find a good site that haas total working zip files seriously 1 out of every 10 links i click are dead i spend almost 4 hours a night trying to find decent charchters for my mugen im looking hard for jubie from samauri showdown and like street fighter charachters and also even after i download a charchter i want and i go thru the proccess of putting him/her on it wont even show up i had winrar but every thing i dl with it never showed up when i put it in i know im not doing it wrong because its the same proccess i use for the 15 i already have well thats another topic all together if Anybody knows a place that is really good any help would be great  thnx  later

I think you may not be adding characters right if they won't show up in your mugen. Have you checked if the .def file name matches the folder the character is contained in?

Also, not seeing zipped files with winrar? Are you looking in the right spot?

 i just re DLed winrar & im gonna give it another shot its not that i dont get a file folder to come up after i  dled things with winrar its just i never got the char to show up,hell thats my only prob but im gonna keep trying

Make a new folder with the EXACT name of the .def file(without the .def at the end of the folder name of course).

Then move the character files in that folder.

Then move the character folder into chars.

Then go to data and open select.def in note pad.

Add the folder name to where the characters are listed.

Save the file and you are done enjoy your new character!

thanx guys i got it all  working now ive been dl like crazy got like 15 char today, now if i can find shen long from sf & jubie from samuri showdown ill be truly happy thanx again
