Star Fox 2 Gameplay

Now I though the sequel to Star Fox 1 was Star Fox 64. But once the AVGN talked about Nintendo Power & how Star Fox 2 never saw the light of day, I was like"Oh my god! Was Star Fox 2 gonna be on the snes but they had to cancel it?!" So I found some gameplay vids that of people have the rom. I though to myself, "How did they get the rom if the game was never released?" And then I figured out that one of the japanese staff still had the regular cartridge. so I looked day & night to see if I can find the rom. I found it in under 5 minutes(I went to esnips). And now I introduce Star Fox 2 gameplay by us, Team Greatness!

The next gameplay I'm gonna do is... oh hold on.
(WHAT IN THE WORLD?! What do you mean toads and dragons teamed up for real?!) - That's right, Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team!

I remember hearing that Starfox 2 was never released. I also heard about the Rom too. So is this full or is it just the Beta Rom that never got finished?

It probably is a beta rom. I know there was a Beta rom of Ninja Gaiden for Sega Genesis (nothing like the NES game and it was never released).

This is pretty old, i think that rom came out in the early 00s.

The unfinished game had some neat ideas, I think there was a 2 player mode in there somewhere IIRC.

There exists, and I used to have it and didn't even realize, a 98% complete rom for Starfox, the missing 2% being some menu screens. Youtube has some vids of someone playing through the entire game.
