I don't believe it is. They got KoF and Metal Slug. I wouldn't think they will go out of business anytime soon.

Actually that happened before.  It happened after making KOF 2000.  After succeeding making several games (espeically Fatal Fury, Samurai shodown...etc), they established a lot of buildings, but couldn't pay back and went out of business.  It's terrible that it happened because they were planning to make sequal of Garo -Mark of the Woves-, but never happned.   :(

btw, if I were wrong for this info, I'd like to apologize....

Thanks to Demonkai.  I got this MMPR photo.
I didn't know your name was :D. That's an interesting name.

I'm not sure about this but I always thought Neo Geo was part of SNK.

Like Team Sonic is part of Sega.

Snk is the name of the company. Neo geo is simply the name of the system. The neo geo was too damn expensive!! The games themselves STILL go about $125 to $255 dollars!! But you got good stuff from a 24 bit machine. They went under and resurfaced as snkplaymore and are doing not to shabby these days. If anyone here likes King of fighters, kofxi is out for the american ps2. I'm still waiting for ss0 Tenchaichi and ngbc!!

I think they had run out of business before, and SNKPLAYMORE inherited the right of SNK.... :|
Now, SNKPLAYMORE is making several games (such as, new Samurai Shodown, new KOF, game that Konoha from SS is the main character....etc) and slot machines.  I heard the news that they are gonna get rid of normal KOF graphics, and start (or started?) making new sprites for up coming game, which sounds really great!

 >:-(-|
I think NEO GEO is a console that SNK made, but they stopped releasing games due to emulator issues.   :(

Thanks to Demonkai.  I got this MMPR photo.
