Jump Sprites

Do my jump sprites have to be off the axis point when I'm lining them up or do they have to stay on the axis mark, meaning the " + " axis mark that you use in Fight Factory.? I'm stuck....

Then the jump is done through the commands, I guess.? Thnkx, oh and sorry if that was a dumb question. I'd just feel dumber if I didn't ask.
