Morrigan Sprite remake

I'm not a good sprite maker, so I wanted to do an HD remake of the darkstalker's sprite Morrigan... what do you think about her?

I don't really think that a jpg'd blow up would've have worked as a good source to make an Hires 'Sprite' of Morrigan. In this case it's more like a flitering, anyway. I guess. I'd recommend you give it a shot with an actual Sprite ripped from the game and try it again for fuller detail.
I enjoy the colour blending though!

You need to like...Use Alien Skin Blow Up or something similar then trace the outline. Look at my sprite edits topic for examples. Also, don't make the image like 4-6x bigger. Make it like 1.5x or 2x bigger.

I've just used alien skin and also Dust & Straches... I think the problem was to use the watercolor filtering at last, because it's scale is 10x (the image was very small)... I will try Again. And when I got it good, maybe I'll do HD sprites remakes for many MVC characters. I think, today, at the year 2012, we MUST start to use HD sprites, for a better gameplay in mugen (I) I will reply again in order to see what do you think ;)

Well...yeah...the 10x shows lol. I would go with 2x or 2.5x and re-outline it.

EDIT: I would like to see sprites like this in the future (I did the Strider sprite too)

I like the re-outlining and everything, but I said 2 or 2.5x, NOT 12x! O_O That's fricken huge, man! The max I would go is 3x FROM THE ORIGINAL SPRITE and not that huge sprite you keep showing above the re-outlined sprite.

So take a REAL Morrigan sprite, and go from anywhere between 2x and 3x. lol.

But the "res" of the original sprites are something like "320,240"

10x are something like "3200,2400"

"The huge resolution, the best experience" Jajajajjajaa. But 3x are 720 vertical pixels... I would go to 1200 vertical pixels, or something like that. Thanks for your the idea, bro ;)

The resolution of the original sprites would actually be 100-200 something.
Hi-res isn't about blowing it up 10x and calling it a day. You need to go from something like 90x135 to 180x270. THAT would make it hi-res or a "remake". Plus, if you tried putting your current sprite in hi-res MUGEN, you'd only be able to see 50% of the feet...if that. I mean you can reduce the size by a lot but then it would look like crap.
