I would like to have gotten this, but my birthday is the day after release, so I had a choice:
Saints Row: The Third
AC: Revelation

Since AC got preference last year and the one before, I decided to wait a bit.

Can't wait to see the end of Ezio's story, all AC games end in plot twists.

It's a very good game so far. I've only gotten like 10-15% through it I think it said last time I loaded the game.
I like the hookblade, but sometimes it's weird because you'll climb up too fast or you'll jump from too far away and when you hook on a ledge your body goes swings in and out of the building then you climb up. I'm amazed that testers and etc. didn't even bother with that whole swinging in and out of a building thing.

As far as storyline goes, it's really awesome so far. Even for the 10% that I've done, there's been quite a bit of development with both Desmond and Ezio... more Desmond actually.

Indeed. That's actually who you start out with for a bit, and you get to play with him... I won't give away too many spoilers, but yeah you get to leave Ezio's world and go to Desmond's whenever you want just like Brotherhood. :)

Dang. lol. You've really been missing out on an amazing story.

Note: First one might be a tad boring, but AC2 makes up for it.. so just beat the main story of AC1 and move on to AC2. Don't bother with the random side quests... unless you have to... I haven't played the first game in a long time but it is important to the story... Trust me. :)

I actually had a lot of fun in AC1. I messed around quite a bit, and went on guard-killing frenzies.

Dude, then you'll freaking love the other games. XD

--

Beat Revelations last night. Was actually really hard to get past the missions where you had to sneak in and out of a place with templars guarding it (aka the big red land of death!). Other than that, it was smooth sailing for me... I think that's because I had played 2 and Brotherhood's storyline just a month ago and beat them for like the 4th time. Others might find this game harder. There are definitely more guards on the rooftops than before... not a lot.. but more noticeably so? yes.

P.S. save up for that crossbow. You'll definitely need it in this game. The gun on your wristblade just doesn't cut it in this game.

I've played 1-Brotherhood plus the PSP game. All fun, I liked the crossbow, so I'll save up once I get the game. In Brotherhood I was super cheap with ammo, it was rare that I would ever be more than 2-3 arrows short of max.

lol. Yeah, definitely save up for the crossbow in this game... even if that means waiting around longer for your bank to come in... I would still definitely wait. *nods* The pistol was just bleh in this game. I kept shooting guards and 2 seconds later a guard would climb on the roof and spot me. The bombs in this game were a dumb addition too. I would've preferred just having the smoke pellet's that you had in Brotherhood but more you know. (Was it brotherhood or 2? or both? I can't remember.. I remember something about smoke pellet's) The smoke bombs were the only ones I used in this game... mostly just for decoys and when I found myself in a fight with 10+ guards... yeah... that wasn't fun haha.
