I can't watch the vid. It'll bring back those bitter sweet memories of the years I spent down there. And to think I was there about a week or so before it closed for good.

That is sad.
Never had an arcade around here, well there was a few games at the movie theater, and they did take those out recently, that was sad too.
But other then that I really never had an arcade to go to.

Last I recall, there are some arcade joints down towards the Jersey Shore, which I didn't spend much time in cause my parents were more concerned with swimming in the ungodly murky water.  Said joint had Super Mario Bros. Vs, the Simpsons game, Beer Tapper, and other older games, conviniently located in the "flashback" area.  They also had modern machines, but they're either too bland or too expensive.

Seriously, Guitar Hero would work a whole lot better as an arcade game if it gave you songs to play in an advancing difficulty.  I mean, freedom of choice in arcade games?  That should only be restricted to fighting games!

Ive been going there for years. Thats my childhood right there. It was freakin Chinatown! That was like soul of all NY gamers there. It was like a hidden world that only real gamers knew of. A definite relic of the past. There wont be another Arcade like that in NY. the only one that comes close or should i say top that is in Tokyo. i saw it maybe late last year in a video. its like fighting gamers heaven!
Set like a fly lounge but just crisp arcade slots everywhere.
