I went all around town and called a few places and I was shocked that every store that sells video games had the new DS 3D in stock. Here where I live all stores said the same thing "we only have sold 2 or 3". There is a total of 7 Gamestops in a 40 to 45 mile radius and they only sold 11 total from the release date till today Wednesday. The Best Buys stores around the same area (3 to be exact) sold a total of only 9 and other video games store merchants around here sold about 15 all together. Not to mention Toys R' Us stores have already started a promotion "Buy one DS 3D game get another DS 3D game 50% off. It looks like Virtual Boy all over again.

I think it's the fact that everyone either already has a DS, or doesn't have the money for one. It DOES cost 250 bucks.

But yea.. not much new about the 3DS and I'm sure a few agree with me when I say removing the GBA slot was the worst freakin idea in DS history.

Nintendo seems to be fond of eliminating backwards compatibility from their consoles. The DS dropped support for Game Boy games, arguably Nintendo's best selling system, and now the Game Boy Advance, also another great selling system, both with around 100 million sold each.

I'm tempted to buy one and keep it in storage for the future. I might make thousands of dollars on it later!

hey i say put the Game boy advance , some batteries and 3 great games in a time capsule and in 35 years pull that sucker out and compare it to what handhelds is around in the future!!

I would like one but it's expensive and it's no where near Christmas time yet.

i personally think its a waste of money unless you don't own a next gen console or someone who really needs to do something while not at home to keep from being bored, but if you already own a ds or psp there's really no point in buying it

. all i see are downgraded versions of games i already own or can get my hands on already like ssf4, zelda, doa, resident evil, and metal gear. unless they plan on releasing completely new titles (not a 3d version of old releases) that are exclusive to 3ds i don't think much people are going to buy it

I want one too and I had a DS lite. my DS broke, but even if It still worked I would've wanted one anyway.

Seriously, plus tax down here would bring it up to 280 or more, a nintendo wii isn't even that much, so no thanks........
