The game also have a Party Battle mode, up to 5 players can battle online, you can customize each character's job and abilities.

"hmmm..yeh yeh i know demons souls was supposed to be kings field's sorta sequel but
i want an actual NEW "kings field" game like 4 for ps2 but with the graphics of demons souls. eh

From Software has officially revealed Dark Souls, formerly known as Project Souls, the sequel to Demon's Souls. Dark Souls will carry the same theme as the first game, you learn from mistakes and joy with discovery. The game does not have connection to the world or story of the first game. Similar to Demon's Souls, you can create and customize the character, obtain weapons and accessories in the battles and level up the characters.

Dark Souls will emphasizes on the exploration element, all the areas are connected, you can travel from one town to another, from one dungeon to another seamlessly. The land will have complex formations of heights. The game will not have job system, you can choose the style you want to play freely.

Producer Hidetaka said the game will have cooperative and competitive online play elements. Dark Soul is scheduled for a late 2011 release in Japan for PS3 only, the oversea version will be available on both PS3 and Xbox 360.
