I can't get him to work properly. I'm running the rc7 ex plus alpha version of Mugen.

I get 4 different errors when I try to load him:

1.Error message: Need at least one state controller
2.Error in [statedef 191]
3.Error in Chars/Mrfantastic/Mrfantastic.def
4.Error in loading p1


Is this a problem for everyone or is there something I can do to fix the character?

Is it maybe Mr Fantastic is specific to a particular screenpack?

I'd really love to add a working version to my roster, so any help is greatly appreciated.

He is made for older winmugen builds - I would suggest going back to Mugen_Plus till more characters are compatible for mugen 1.0

The fact of the matter is, that even though the new RCs are definitely better, and cooler looking, you still have a back log of 10 years worth of mugen characters that was developed for good 'ol winmugen and many people don;t plan on updating all their creations until they know the rules in RC aren't going to be changing (i.e. a non-beta release)

Actually no 95% of mugen creations work on the RC Mugen if it crashes then it the creator fault. Not try to be harsh or anything. I was able to get all my 297 characters to work on the R.C mugen if you want him to work the first thing you would do is check all the velset code

For Example
velset = 0,0

and make sure there are two numbers not three if there are three numbers than delete the third number.

I looked into the issues and this is the fix open up the common1.cns

anim = 199
velset = 0,0

look for this code and delete it. I'm surprised that this didn't cause it to crash in the old mugen.

Thanks for the Tips these will come in handy one day - The only way i'll officially move over to the new mugen is when I can get an IMT BLUE category screenpack on it
