Anyone seen District 9?
« on: January 09, 2010, 01:18:15 AM »
It's a pretty good movie. Too bad the main guy turned into a prawn from being exposed to some alien chemical. I note that it's not a action film, up until the end of the film.

Actually the movie is really good. Everyone should crap down and give it a chance. It starts off slow but, gets better after that. The cat food thing is just a side note.

this movie from my opinion is the worst movie for 2009 when we except the low budget movies ....

I enjoyed the movie quite a bit, once it got moving. The only thing that bugged me about it was how all of the aliens (except the main one and his son) seemed to be about as intelligent as the average 4th grader (with about the same attitude). You'd think a species capable of interstellar travel would be a little sharper....

The ending was fine. It was just an obvious set-up for a sequel.

3/5. Not a great movie, but well worth seeing.
