So.. I just bought DiRT 1 about a week ago for PC... started playing that... I haven't really played it since early 2008 all that much so it was great to play again. The details are really good for a 2006/2007 video game. I'm about 40 something % into it. What I don't like is the multiplayer... I can't even log-in... or create an account.. it won't let me... maybe all the servers went down already....?? idk....
I also just rented DiRT 2 a few days ago and it's definitely much more detailed looking but the style of it is still really the same... the only thing I like better about DiRT 2 right now is that the controls are easier... turning and drifting is much easier to accomplish without crashing. The one thing I do not like is the in-car camera... If you're going to create an in-car camera in the game... make sure people can ACTUALLY USE IT without crashing every minute... I was like wow... I'm going to test it in trailblazer race later, but jeez... the in-car camera in DiRT 1 still is much more fun and easy to use....
