Resident Evil - Masacre Zombie HR
« on: July 14, 2009, 01:32:22 PM »
Well friends, try and try and achieve to make my first Hi Res stage using the first stage I made for Resident Evil, the music the better and have a little 2 in ogg and mp3 formats, just choose which get changed in the file def stage. I am really happy with the result.
-> This stage is based on Resident Evil 1, summer is his style as MVC and recreates a part of the mansion filled with zombies massacred.
-> The music is original band of the game.
-> Thanks Yoda Sensei, Emiliano 120 and mgmnzx for the help extended to me in explanation and patience to make this internship possible.

From looking at your screenshots, BG seems a tad blurry, massive color loss on the floor, and gradients, zombie sprite still looks a little pixelated, other than that, not bad. I'll give the stage a test tonight.

EDIT: One only single sprite?

I don't really like this sorry...you have done better....
It's mostly empty...
The way shadows cast over the dead zombies at the bottom(left mostly) it looks like he is completely flat. Probably didn't layer it right?...
Like Dissidia said, it looks more blurry then Hi res, of course that from not using real Hi res sprites, just smudging normal ones.
And the blood looks incredibly fake, just red that you also used smudge on...I mean nevermind the fact that the zombies are bleeding green blood, but it's red blood they are on xD
I think it's okay...but I don't like it...

Ok, sounds good, but there is no way to make a hi res sprite but it renders the image. It is the first stage I created in hi res, always did in the low res. I had many problems to do it, and I'll refine things, this is only the first version that I do in hi res. Now I will go to update and improve, as his advice. There was no need to be as aggressive with the comment.

That wasn't aggressive in any way. Least by my standards.
I HAVE seen you do better, your a good stage creator.
I just pointed out what I thought could use some touching up.
When I'm really being a jerk, you'll know = )
