having trouble installing the virtual fighter 5 lifebars can anyone help by explaining to me how to installing them.thanks in advanced.

ok so in the first life bar you had you should have the following

fightfx.air
fightfx.sff
fightM.def
fight.def
fight.snd
fight.sff

when you install the VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 life bars you will overwrite 3 files

fight.def
fight.snd
fight.sff

so the problem i think you have is that you deleted the fightfx.air, fightfx.sff,fightM.def from your first lifebar try to install the VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 life bars again but keep the following files

fightfx.air
fightfx.sff
fightM.def

after that then it should run correctly

All you gotta do is copy the files given to you and put them in the data folder (overwriting everything). However, the font files (the ones labeled FNT file) go in your font folder. If you're still having problems than the fight.def file doesn't fit your game. Open up the fight.def folder and make sure it looks exactly like this:



If you look at the lifebar's fight.def folder, you'll notice that it doesn't have "font/" before the font name so add that in like the picture. Also where it says "fightfx.sff =" take out the "data/sff/" part. Take out the other parts that aren't in the picture as well. Basically, make your fight.def file look the same as the picture and it SHOULD work. Good luck.
