Are Stages from Super Street Fighter 2 HiDef possible?

I very well could have missed it, but has there been anyone who had tried to port the High Res 1080p backgrounds from the 'Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix' game?

I like it because they mostly retain the original looks, but in beautiful quality. The question is that even possible though?

I did, and succeed. Just wasn't possible to get it in the wider version.
