Megaman X9 what do you think?

would it be made? well i hope so. megaman 9 was made so why not x9, and the ending in x8 foreshadows something to come if anybody played it, axl gets hit by lumine and a shine comes out of his helmet crest, just like zero had the wily symbol when his crest was broken by sigma. so my idea is that axl is gonna be the new villian or the new zero virus carrier. im looking forward to this game really.

With the sucess of MegaMan 9, I would think Capcom is considering MegaMan X9 (I remember something about it in an interview). I always prefered the X series, and I would be very excited for an X9 with SNES/PS1 styled sprites.

i made a research,and it appears the game is discontinued in certain locations(australia no longer has Zx advent in stock for example,it got discontinued there a month after release)
I doubt Inti Creates would drop the series after the secret ending of ZX Advent,which left a nice enigma!

ROFL!!!You're right...they even made a mini-game in 8-bits,the main reason to tell why megaman 9 was doable completely in 8-bits!

There's already a fansite dedicated on convincing capcom of making X9

- HD sprites.
- It should be RIGHT after X8
- Anime Cutscenes (WITH GOOD VOICES!)
- Sigma! .
- More armors
- More Supporting characters
- Cameos of characters from other Capcom games  :-?

eh, the series wasn't meant to continue past X5 IIRC. throwing in forgettable side characters and 3D graphics pretty much killed it for me.

Well, Mr. Inafune himself has already stated the X series is gonna be out to lunch for a while, but it hasn't been put to bed.

So, we will get an X9, but not for a while, I'd say 2011.

And in 3D's defense, Mega Man X8 did everything right that X7 screwed up. It went back to side-scrolling action, which is where it should have stayed, the music is probably the best in the series, the navigators can be either skipped or you can just go without one at all, the story is rather interesting, tons of replay value is to be had, & X and Co. are great in this game, especially Axl who totally makes up for his poor-@$$ preformance in the X7.

The Sigma Virus is the reason of being of Megaman X series. The entire series roll around the Virus and the Mavericks. Even without Sigma himself, the virus will still be in there.
