The History of Batman Movies (Burton/Schumacher/Nolan eras)
« on: November 05, 2008, 08:35:10 PM »

this is a really cool montage with all the batman films.

lol this made the Schumacher look good, at least it was short

anybody notice how burton's was dark and gothic, Schumacher's was campy and colorful, and nolan's had realism and dark.

i would not think the 1960's batman movie be in it cuz it was a tv series.

The first vid (that started the topic) was very good... very well blended... I can only suggest that if someone else do it.. wait till the next Nolan - Batman movie... because that's supposedly going to be the last one... so... yeah..

Batman Mask of The Phantasm was in the theatres too. Allthough he didnt direct Burtons team was involved with the latter 2 films.

Personally I think the Burton films were corny at times too. While there is an elemant of gothicness to Burtons vision of Batman, I think Nolans vision is more a true gothic, noir.

Very dark, gritty, industrial, city vibe thats much like the era of cities that inspired the modern movement. (Manchester England, Chicago, Cleveland, and Detroit)
