Gameboy Micro/Original DS help
« on: February 29, 2008, 10:14:41 PM »
Recently, the R-button on my GBM has started to become unresponsive. At first I thought of just buying a used one, but then I remebered that I could just pop out the button and clean it. (the same goes for my old DS' R-button) My only problem is that I don't know how to pop out the button on either handheld, and I'm afraid I might break it if I do.

Can someone give me a few pointers on how I should go about doing so?

U are going to need a special set of screw drivers. U are going to have to open it up. Nintendo makes good products, there button on any of there gaming stuff wont pop out, fall off, etc. unless u throw it into a wall and break it. Just hop that its not the plasic pad that input the reaction of u taping the button If so you'll have to buy a new 1 or mod won from a old gaming controler.

Alright, so basically I just open it up and clean it out?

Oh, and thanks.  ;D

Yep! Turns out there was a lot of dust and stuff under the button. Yuck. Thanks.  ^-^
