Shin Akuma has been around since before CvS.
Back in SFA3 was his first appearance, he had Red hair and purple garments,
where as in SvC he appears in Silver hair and dark purple clothes, and he's one of the two main bosses.

I still find it funny that in the first 4 games, all mk characters had the same moves, except specials, fatalities and the combo's in 3 and 4.

Dude. Only the Shoto characters have the same moves. 
Balrog for a great example doesn't use his legs. In stead his fighting style varies a lot differently then the shotos.
Name one character in the first four MK games that didn't use their legs (shang tsung from MK1 doesn't count because of his morphs,) I know Kintaro did use his legs, and since Kintaro did, I'm pretty sure Goro uses his legs too.
Although the boss characters play a lil different from the non-bosses, almost every character in SF2 and SF3 had their own fighting styles (except for the shotos).

are u trying to prove that the first 4 mk sucked or something cause 4 and up sucked.  except armageddon.  but when 3d came along mk started sucking.

the only people that same the same were the ninja chars thats it.
