You pointed exactly two of the reasons to stay in here...
I first joined to search for some characters and mostly to get a hold of what mugen was after i was introduced by a friend of mine
By the time i got here,the unrequestables were still up and EOH was still as nice project to look fwd too...
Now Eoh is released,as well as many of its chars and i made it to news reporter

This place being friendly and with staff that´s honest to you,it´s hard to stay away from here...
Besides,all of us can make a topic of many diff subjects,like videogames,anime,movies and tv,etc,without problem...

mugen characters at first but then as time went on i started to learn more about mugen that i dint know you could and i looked fowrad to other poeples creations and hard.

$\-/o$ it sucks im not able to creat my own stuff.

but at least downlaod other creators work and leave comments about it

I joined Infinity because:

I believed in a place where you could be a noob and ask stupid noob questions and people wouldn't be swift to drop the hammer on you, but politely inform you of your noobness and stop to help.

I believed in Marvel vs Capcom: Eternity of Heroes by being able to see the constant progress and the work everyone was putting into it.

I believed that even though I couldn't code or sprite (and still can't), I might be able to give a suggestion or two that would be taken into consideration, instead of simply being blown off.

And to this day, I have yet to be proven wrong.

Being a lurker/leecher I first came here for mugen characters.

But after staying here and checking out the forum I soon realized that this was a really great place with a lot of dedicated and skilled enthusiasts.

I don’t really contribute much except for the occasional char/stage request upload, but I really enjoy this community and I consider it to be one of the best around.

Friendly people helping each other, great developers, and a well working forum.

basically i joined to get Silver Surfer and Human Torch, but now i see that this is a nice mugen community. lot of people here who are willing to help others and stuff. i'm leraning quite a bit from the tutorials and tips posted here. Great forum!

i joined infinity because this is the only place i could contact a friend of mine [his s/n is captain obvious!! LVL 4]
i needed to talk to him about something and...thats about it..

I joined the forums, because I figured that it was time, to start spreading out on my knowledge in mugen & storyboard making. To try and assist others, in any way possible, beyond the many tutorial videos I made. And now that I'm actually making something for the engine, after fiddling around with it, and gutting it out for over 2 years, I'm starting to create stuff for it.

The other reason that I joined, is to see new places, and whatnot. And to check out what this place, has to offer. I've seen this forum many times, but it wasn't until just not too long ago, when I actually decided to join up.

Actually I was originally with Mugen-Infantry from the begining of May '07, when I was developing some of my unreleased creations; (Lost Sayajin W.I.P ~~Cancelled~~, Chibi Goku W.I.P ~~Cancelled~~ and MvC Naruto W.I.P Currently on Hold) and I was tired of all the downtime on their forums, whenever I was in need of assistance.

Needlessly to say, during that downtime, a Myspace friend from a Mugen Group suggested for me to join, if I was really serious about creating. He noted I could learn a thing of two by just merely lurking around and that people here tend to be more outspoken then more other forums. He was 100% correct. Without a doubt some of the best creators and best friendships reside here.

If I remember correctly, this is around the time I originally started making my trasition from merely playing to actually creating.

Well I joined because for over a year now I've seen these AMAZING MUGEN VIDEO CLIPS on youtube....now that I have a Quad-Core PC with a 24" Samsung 1080p HD Monitor...I wanna download these games and play! Eventually I wanna learn how to create characters, stages,etc.

Now where do I get Super Marvel vs Capcom Beta? I'm ready to do some serious damage to a few heroes/villians
