The Great Youtube Blackout on July 14th

I don't like the new design . So whatever I did not log into youtube or watch any vids yesterday . I really do not think it proved anything . Didn't someone do that for didn't they have a gas boycott a few years ago . After no one bought gas that certain day , they just raised to the price the next day to make up for the money they lost the day before ...

BTW the day you guys protested had tons of people on. You guys were probably in the 2-3% that did not logon. So tell you the truth I think you guys did not even get them to push the release date back. I was logged in the whole day and there were def tons of people on.

unless there was a global balckout or at least week long there is no way that this would have worked either there are to many people that don't care to many people that like the sites changes or the time/day diffrence to pull it off . I dont really care for the new changes but like acey said its a free site and the only thing we can really do to change tthings are to leave or make our own youtube type place where anything goes

I just checked the beta channel info page and it reads "We want to give you a heads up that we're changing the day on which we'll move all remaining channels over to the new version. Why? Well, July 15th is almost here, and we realized that we still have a few bugs and things left on the to-do list."   so basically the only thing it did was change the date of the release

I wast supporting and i find that hilarious
