I sorta like it, but it makes looking for some boards a lil' harder for me.

I agree, when I first saw it I was like WTF!? ok, now how do I get into the forums....I had to go to my private messages and click on forums just to get in....kinda annoying and if I click the wrong thing....I'm right back to that page again

This is my only active forum. What does a karma system do exactly? Will it be different than others? Is it like MI's honor system? I like the new format, it's like a stat system, but it is a small inconvience to click twice to get to the forum.

I was a bit taken back at first when I clicked on home. It does seem like a good way to get a quick view of what's new on the forum. But it may take a while for me to click on "Forum" and not "Home" to get to the forum

I to however am interested in what the Karma system is.

I like the main layout,but a bigger button to access the forums would be good...i might need to change the link in my bookmarks for now...

I added the portal to the forum. You can do one of 2 things to bypass this. Either, bookmark the forum's index again so that when you use your bookmark it takes you to the forums main index (old url: http://www.infinitymugenteam.com/Forum_345/ ......... new url: http://www.infinitymugenteam.com/Forum_345/index.php?action=forum ) or click on the actual "forums" link up top of the main index. It isn't that hard and just takes some getting used to. I switched my theme from Blueskies, which I have been using since the IMT and I stood up this forum prior to re-opening it back up to you guys, to the default skin. I was thinking of removing all of the extra themes and going with only the default. I am going to be going through the current forum mods and removing what I feel is unecessary while trying some new things out. This forum has always had a karma option. I just have never enabled it because I think it can get a little out of control sometimes, plus I think it's silly seeing people say "+1 for you!"

Any suggestions?

Okey dokey, your just trying new things with the forum and stuff....guess we'll just try and adapt to whatever new changes you make, no problem

I think if your going to use the karma system it should be different than MI. I do like the idea. Maybe we could brain storm something or open up a new topic on how it should be handled.

I've never cared for any sort of Karma system, really.

Portal uses tables?
The div that contains the post information on the portal could use a left-margin of about 36px. At least in Hello_Multi anyways. Unfortunately it has neither a class nor an ID attribute.

I'm not really seeing any increase in accessibility either.

Everything also begins with 'Dot' on the user information. Is this part of a language key or something?

I click the home button every time still too

As for Karma, we don't expect to start useing it because it seems to work on a flawed system.

Portal, boardnews system was the best move you guys made.

IMO you should move the entire for directory to the http://www.infinitymugenteam.com front page and if you do, use repair.php to correct the changes for the settings, directories, smileys, etc and you will be all good.

I'll admit I'm a hater .

I don't like the new look , it seems to hard to navigate to where I want to be . At first I thought half the threads were gone ? Then after a few minutes of studying the layout , I found most of them . I also absolutely despise the whole karma thing .
