TrinitroMan's Color Seperations
« on: May 25, 2013, 02:57:56 AM »
Hello again,
I don't know, if this is the right place, but I decided to start my first color seperation:

Aside from that, I also seperate the teeth, the needle projectiles, the small cards, the shock aura and the somersault effect.
However, before I can continue, I need to know: Is this good enough? Thanks in advance!

Well are you going to do that for every sprite in that character?
Could you post what the original looked like. Perhaps no one has seen this or said anything because they don't know the character and don't know how many of the colors in area's are blended. You might have had more attention doing something more people would recognize right away.
Right now she kinda looks like she's supposed to have an "Elizabeth" from Bioshock Infinite pal

Basically, I cant tell if you did any separation at all because I cant compare it to the original.

Also it might be a good idea to show the orginal colors in a pal box and then a box showing all your new ones.

I have updated the color seperation anyway, so here is the new color seperation (left) and the default pallette (right):

Aside from that, I also seperate the teeth, the needle projectiles, the small cards, the shock aura and the somersault effect.

You might also want to separate the sleeves and the fringe on the bow from the rest of the white on the costume.

Thanks for the input, though I start to run out of good color values... ~X(
