Robin DCvsMavel compatible (MINOR UPDATE 12/25 EVENING)
« on: December 25, 2008, 02:05:15 AM »
Well listen guys I screwed up with the combo's. I now know that AI is my one weekness. After releasing this Robin I now know its going to take more learning b4 I can fix all of Robins bugs from One Winged Angels code, I gotta learn more.

I fixed the combos back the way they were from the old robins, so the medium combos will just be like the strong combo's. Right now it looks like sandscript so I have a lot to learn.

As far as the staff attacks being after the strike, I did that on purpose, because it looks like crap if it hits on the shading. I guess MVC perfectionists can skip this one because Im going with what looks right to me.

I redid everything command wise from the previous version so this one should at least work as good, other than the frame the staff hits on. If not I guess he will have to do till I learn a little more

Yeah I know this isnt very exciting, but I did this in 2 weeks for the fans of thw DC vs Marvel style. in addition to adding the basics of the DCvM template lots of bugs werefixed, and several minor improvements were done as well.

Thanx to Zvitor for helping me on a couple of problems that had me stumped.

This should be the best Robin yet.

One more from me tomorrow

Awe man, I hate to be the one to rain on this parade, but something drastic has happened with his attacks.

Starting off from that 4-button based Hayato is really starting to bite in the @$$. This Robin's attacks are all out of whack.

Jump LK is knockdown attack, so how can I haz air combo?

The weak auto combo doesn't connect on the 4th attack, no matter what you attack with, even though there clearly is a CLSN for it.

Also, might wanna go through the CMD, you have C+Z for a hard air batarang where X and Y do the others, why not just Z?

The Supers are fast and smoother and his Z offset is fixed but combat wise, the prevoius beta is the more solid release.

But, since you changed bases and templates in two weeks, I would assume there would be things to iron out.

Gotta disagree with the last statement, but its a matter of opinion. The only thing on the attacks that I changed was all the punches and kicks which all actually came from the Infinity template, so they work how how Infinity designed them to. Im sure there are some bugs that need worked out specifically to Robin though, but Im not sure why theyd be out of wack.

As far as as the air batarangs go, Batzarro did the commands, and its the same as the last version.

Maybe some problems you didnt notice b4.

The people over at MFG have done a very through breakdown, but of course with the "tude" they're known for.

I agree with their statements, but not their demeanor.
