I have a lot of ideas about special moves for wesker, some are good...other not that good but i'll put all of them anyway  :cool
-the pistol attack is the obviously choice for a long range attack
-an attack based on the dodges that he does in RE5, he could only dodge or dodge and attack the opponent like guy's houzantou
-something like lobo' special attack that he drinks and get status like power up or speed up, but instead of drinking, wesker could inject some virus
-striker attacks like jill's zombies is a nice choice too, but he could call other things like hunter as he does in RE code veronica to go after Chris
-since wesker does A LOT of melee moves in RE5 a counter move could fit well
-and finally the hyper idea is a huge tentacle of uroboros like in RE5, you could base this move in k999 lv3 hyper that his arm become "that thing"

anyway, it's just ideas, hope you liked  :)

@ darkseid: thanks for the ideas  ::salute::. I already considered some of them, but I'm thinking about leaving Wesker to fight alone (no summons, no strikers). Only time will tell.

I had just done a moveset for Wesker for you but then my computer crashed so I lost it. I'll redo and send it to you tomorrow.

And the moveset was summon/striker free as I remember you saying you didn't want that style for Wesker and that was he to be more melée based.

The moveset was tricky to think up in order to keep him unique play style wise so I made sure guns were kept to a very minimum to keep him different from a certain other character

But like I said, I shall rewrite it and Pm it to you
tomorrow (it's 2.50am for me and I'm off to bed :P )

oh, and nice design! :)

Thanks Dead-X  :) (and thanks to Li Kun for the base as well :)). Take your time, I'm pretty sure your list will be very cool. I'll take ideas from everyone, to make him as different as I can from other characters and bring a good gameplay experience :thumbsup:.

I can't wait to see what kind of special gameplay you guys are going to give him. XD||

I also hope that you maybe can reconsider at least an attack with the Hunters like Darkseid DC said.
Maybe for an hyper like the Code T-002 Hyper of Jill in MvsC2 and make it hard to connect it like the one I mentioned, so people won't be spamming the Hunters either.

At least these guys seems to fit with him since he seems to treat them like pets or something like that. :-??

@ Sasuke-kun: didn't know that, thanks for the info :). Maybe I could add him for an hyper and/or intro/ending.

@ Uche: Yes, this will be ported to 1.0 as well. That version will have a pair of new features, including alternative modes for some of the characters (Morrigan-Lilith mode, for example), as I found the remappal superctrl the best way to get this done. For now it's nothing big (like new characters or content), as I see there's still a lot of people using the winmugen hack releases.

sorry for botter you again Nestror, if you don't mind I tried to give him a little more muscles, i don't know if it's just my opinion but he appear to be a little thin, when he has 90 kg (200 lb)
added small details on the face, pants and boots and change his stance too

PS: I'm not a good spriter, anyway is just to give you ideas

Well, now that MvC3 has been announced, I'll wait to see if they decide to include Albert Wesker in the game. If they do so, I'll try base the design in that incarnation.

If they do put Wesker in MvC3 it will be his RE5 look much like they have done with Chris. I think they're going for the most up to date looks with most of the characters. Much like if they include Jill (which I really hope they do) it'll be her RE5 BSAA outfit. But as for what design to go with, well his Midnight look certainly is more well known with newer fans of the series, but his STARS look is iconic. But if you want to be character accurate and have his super powers the Midnight Wesker it is. STARS Wesker didn't have powers, and when he did his outfit had a huge hole where the Tyrant impaled him. And the Midnight look is less detailed and therefore easier to sprite.

As for Joe, huge improvement I think. He looks like he came right from a CvS game and therefore fits in better with the other characters.

Thanks Dead-X :) and I just saw I expressed bad myself  :D. I'll keep the STARS uniform, but with the anims used in MvC3, at least of the basic movement and attacks. I'm still planning to incorporate the move list you sent me  ::salute::.

lol. I'm a big Viewtiful Joe fan, and i approve. he looks awesome, his stance is more accurate, and it looks official. pretty awesome. i'd love to see him in. Really. even though the game isn't official, i'm anticipating it possibly more than i've ever anticipated a game in my life.

I'm still working on megaman some, his face is a bit off, and his colors arent correct. started on him a long, long time ago, and about to restart with his NxC Sprites to use for reference.

Needs a lot of work and i'll ned to take out my old MML2 game to get weapon ideas and such. a bit off topic, but back on, this is a truely great game.

If you're looking for weapon ideas, look towards Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars.

@Nestor: Batsu Ichimonji?! I thought the Rival Schools/Project Justice lineup was filled, then this surprise comes up.
