2 palettes on one character

Is there a way to use a different pallete for different sprites in the same character - I have already used up my 256 for my hi-res Powerman & I need to add in Ironfist as a helper with his own 256 color palette or any way I can make this happen will work - I thought by not clicking on shared palette when i put the new images in would work but i'm getting the disappearing thing happeneing on my ironfist images

Nope. All the colors have to be on the same palette, otherwize sprites that do not have the "shared palette" button clicked will use that images default palette and cannot be changed by alternate palettes in game.

This means that as long as the images are converted corretly, your iron fist will always look his normal colors.
