I have no idea what Professional art teachers look for but im guessing if you just did anime chars for projects that might have been why. Don't get me wrong they look amazing. but with anime the proportions are not correct to the human anatomy so ofcourse an art teacher would fuss and rip the piece of art apart no matter how good it looked.

But again I could be completely wrong but thats my guess.

But relating to your art amazing job man I love every single one of them. Well except for the loulou and suzaku one. Sorry I'm not into that

even our comic is made into anime... and my proff still complains..

and plus he is such a lier..

he said Mounty Oum's work is made by a filipino.. and i know from the start that its not... i wanna screw him..

so i transferred school.

Well I will tell college art proffs are against anime art no matter what they say cause they see a low form of art. I know this cause I sent some stuff back in high school art to a college board and they gave me a horrible score on my work yet my high school art teacher liked it and said I had talent. That was years ago but, I find it is bull that college art proffs think of anime art as not professional cause anime art makes people butt loads of money . Oh well college art proffs will all ways be stuck up as far as what they consider real art its so sad but, its a unchanging fact. I think your art is great and shows skill. Anyways I say do what you love to do.
