The thing about that is, that is actually incredibly inaccurate, it is a good edit, but unaccurate.
1) Mummy Doesn't have a arm band
2) His shoes don't match the normal commando crew (he has recoloured vega shoes).
3) Mummy should have ripped trousers and he seems to have borrowed vegas (lol).

I'll leave it at that. He's a hard character to get right.

Uh, I think you are really selling yourself short anvil.  All the things you mentioned are well within your skills. You are one of the best sprite editors I have ever seen.  The only thing that seems time consuming to me are the stripes.  You should keep this in mind on the back burner if you could get permission from juniorblader to use and edit his existing sprites.  If he didn't have many to begin with maybe it wouldn't be worth it though... just don't forget that I think we all know that this kind of sprting talent is well within your reach.  Jubilee, Forge, Bishop, morph.... :)

i do actually have permission to finish JB's mummy.... He's done barely any sprites... but we will see, never say never.

I like him, but I feel that a few things should be looked into:

- Hit sounds need work (they don't sound right).
- Mech freeze super is weird when blocked, the opponent is in a frozen state and the baby rocket disappears.  Also, I think the baby rocket should move a little faster.
- The spinning lariat should have a knockdown.

actual when it misses or is blocked it isnt disappearing. he just does his  missing animations letting you know it didnt hit. if anything i say make that animation go by faster as baby is more than a sitting duck if its blocked. I have found a combo that i can connect the freeze module to. it svery hard to do but when it hits i think it does like 13 hits or less....cant remember. he just need more unique ways to combo into so that you actually have to use setups instead of trying to bore your way in every second.

I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but the music for the Capcom City stage stutters unless I attack with someon, then it plays fine,...until I stop attacking. \-/o

Thise needs to be fixed.

Edit: Also, it's nice to see that Baby's got more vocals, but there are still quite a lot missing, like Baby crying in his second win pose (I like the voice for his first win pose, though.).

BTW, I :D ed at the fart sound for his second win pose.

Oups baby pooped himself.   ;*))
Baby came out great.  I like the sound effect for the missiles from the knees.  The only thing that strikes me as odd is the blocking frames, I would have expected him to block with his arms and not a shield.  Either way I think you really captured the character is from the old arcade game and the MVC striker.
I'm surprised being the fan of the Arcade game that you are you didn't give baby a weapon from the arcade game like the mallet for a quick 1, 2, 3 hyper or something.  I think the hyper with everyone in the module could be sped up some so it doesn't slow down the match as much.
Keep up the great work Anvil.

R@CE? Dang that guy is a machine. He's definitely got some talent to say the least. I hope we get to hear some more of his stuff soon. I can't get that Capcom City one out of my head.

I forgot to say that Baby's knee missle attack lacks an explosion sound. That is all.

R@CE's music is pretty good. The tracks sound like they were made by Capcom themselves!

Being documented on Captain Commando lore, I already knew that! ;) It's only in Japan where he's called that, though (in the U.S., he's called Baby Head).

Baby Head is also known as the Baby Commando in the character select screen. We opted to keep the consistency with the commando names.

On top of that we're using the American versions rather than the Japanese versions.

Mukuro/Kenji
Nool/Hydron
M. Bison/Balrog
Hoover/Baby Commando
Vega/ M. Bison

etc...

Yeah, it's more convenient that way (especially with the whole Balrog/Vega/Bison situation  <_<|...|).

However, if I recall correctly, in the current beta version of SMvC:EOH, Bass uses his Japanese name (Forte) instead of his U.S. one, for some reason. Someone should fix that.
