some truth here indeed, the excesive witch hunt on who stole what from who has always bothered me too, i dont care bout people taking my stuff to do whatever they want, some of them ask out of respect for some hard work which is nice i do so as well but persecuting people is going too far, i would rather think i help people create something they want if they credit good if not then its credit enough they use my stuff instead of someone elses

its funny how most of these persecuters are pretty lowsy creators too XD, a lot of the big names dont give a crap

its not like i asked elecbyte or capcom or whoever for permission either... seems hypocritical, i believe knowledge belongs to the world

Are you going to persecute someone because they stole your character, which you "stole" from their original creators ( Marvel,CAPCOM,DC...)?
Some of the creators share their work, I think, because they want to test themselves and make new and original characters and see their results with people "YouTube-ing" their playthrou with their character and give feedback, I think that if this was for money, then the persecuting and such would be justified to a point, however, that also means "distributing for comercial purposes" which will undoubtedly pi$$ off CAPCOM and the such.

-I once saw some topic here talking about some guy selling MUGEN with IMT and Scruffy chars, DARKTALBAIN`s reaction was surprising, he didn`t care, because he knew that you really can`t do anything about it, yet I saw some people posting that "this is an outrage!" or such, can you really sue another for something that doesn`t belong to you? And because you edited some sprites and learned some coding , does that make you a mugen god of sorts? *The MUGEN you all use is unofficial, modded from Elecbyte`s original work, and you all use it without thinking, wow Elecbyte worked hard and these guys basically "stole" them* the kicker is, when that happens to you, then it`s your turn to start off some e-drama.

I have a job & do this just for fun . Hey , times are tough if that guy needs money that bad that he sells mugen on ebay & people buy it . More power to him .

It's not like he was saying " I made this stuff , look at how great I am  " He just put together the compilation & was selling it . Not really a big deal to me , & I wasn't going to let it stress me out . there's more important things in life .

If someone did try to take my Hobgoblin , Wolvenom , Medieval Spawn & say they made it . Everyone in the community knows who did anyway . I kind of do get a little excited by the fact that all over the world people are enjoying something I made . It's a cool feeling .

That's all I ask of you guys . Enjoy the stuff I make . Whether you get it from me personally , here , esnips , or a warehouse somewhere . It doesn't matter to me . Just don't have someone make you  trade for it

that is a very looooooooong discussion. Its just about one thing missed here those days: Respect. Its just that. Its nice to ask.

Selling compilations like he did is wrong, but I don`t think he never said he made the actual characters and the stuff in it. Compilations are made (usually without permission) to have people get into MUGEN and the community, I started out with a DBZ compilations and Perfect Cell was my first char used in MUGEN, I then downloaded the nolimit winmugen patch (idk, don`t really remember) and started downloading characters, I usually see a lot of MUGEN matches in YouTube and people keep asking, send this char to me please, some are sent, some are not, this here is sharing, not stealing.

And, as for the chars themselves, warehouses and ESNIPS exist, and is where people get offline characters also.
And I don`t think anybody would try to steal characters , If they did, they would have to eat up requests and the such, to which I`m pretty sure all of you creators get

No. Actually, he hasn't banned a member in a very long time. You have to screw up so bad that you see the high order eSkRo and then not only do you get banned, but you get owned at SMvC:EoH 1st (he picks C. Marvel and dominates always), then banned.

I miss the old IMT this place has been having a negative vibe lately. The princess longes for the days when this place felt like a huge family. This is understandable tho seeing how the site has grown. These just some many different people here these days which is good but i dont think it will ever be as tiet nit as it used to bet but u do have ur old friend to kick wit and there are many new people they are cool. Angel and slowcar i just meet are so cool. Ice is always got his mouth open, which i love. and so on. IMT has changed and yeah it different now but thing will level out. its a transition thats all. the process of intergrading all those new members. But i do miss IMT of the old.

The Princess is speachless . . . . . . . .

You're playing the wrong game. He is only a hidden character in the sequel that is a prequel to the original, and then you have to have the right dip switches flipped.
