I already decided last week , that I wasn't going to have the winner choose the theme . Because we needed something to get more people involved . So without further ado ....

Week #9's theme is .....

" Trumpets sound "

Free for all week

Sprite anything you want . From any genre , whether it be video games , comic books , movies , etc ... . It doesn't matter . This week should have a lot of variety .

Anyway there you have it , good luck to you all . Same deal , PM me your submissions . Please try to remove the backgrounds yourself & also let me know what your submission is & what it's from in the PM .

Also , please send me png or gif files . The jpgs I have been getting , I think hurt a lot of contestants since they lose quality .

Hell, I'll just save a sprite I would of done for the week and turn it in. Just hope not to see too many entries that you can tell who made them.

Have you thought about putting an eyepatch over your right eye? Might help.

Thanks but won't do, when the big headache is here, can only wait it leaves. Plus my other eye vision is better but not reeally good still so can't really do much in this situation, this is what you get when you should be wearing glasses for 10 years but never had ^^
Anyway i can bare with it and someday will see a specialist when i have the time so that's cool...

bro , I'm in that situation right now . Ever since I cut my eyeball in a freak BMX accident involving a garbage can ( don't ask ) my vision has been bad . I used to have 20/20 vision , but now I really do need glasses . I can't even read a comic book anymore , the words are blurry .

I can admit it , but I'm still in denial . Man , I don't want to wear glasses .

Glasses are sexy, that is when on a girl.

Im sure there are allot of women who might think the same way.

Im probably going to need them someday, both my parents had to have them eventualy. I kinda look like a young Jerry Garcia with glasses on.

hell yeah , I love the secretary looking girl . Really get's me going . But I don't want to wear them . I'm lookinginto that lasic surgery , actually . My buddy wore glasses for years . he went & had that done & he now has perfect vision .

BTW About the sprites of the week contest . I really didn't think I needed to say this . But apparently to some of the new members I do . The whole idea behind this competition is to make new , fresh sprites . If you submit something from one of your characters , it can't be anonymous . Say I joined one week & submitted Wolvenom sprites . Everyone knows who is making him , so how anonymous could that be .

Onto the other matter . The sprites have to be made BY YOU . I'm relying on the honesty factor here , because I do not know every single sprite that exists on the internet . But if you submit a collage with sprites with some well known creators in it . I definately caught that . This is a fun competition to show off your sprite work . Please do not have submissions with one character you are making & a bunch of sprites by other creators .

Yeah , I received it . Just been really busy at work & working on finishing up Wolvenom . So haven't had a lot of time to send out PM's . But , I got your entry .

I actually have a lot of projects open which have already been waiting for five years, plus, I need to reach the deadline for my own novel. Actually, my novel is one of those five year projects.

agreed i use glasses myself and it's always a plus for me(note,i'm a dude and i like also girls with glasses...so what?)
