Excursion wants to challenge all of you a little bit . He gave me some tough themes to choose from . All of them would challenge your spriting ability . It took me awhile to decide . But here is the theme for this week .

IMT admin scenes .

Pick an IMT Team Member (IMT Creator/Admin/IMT Original/Any Moderators, or me DARKTALBAIN), using their current sprite, edit a new pose in a stage scene (similar to Batzarro's edit below)

I am going to take it one step farther to make it more open . You can make an edit of any character that member has made . For example if you wanted to use Acey . You can make the girl Acey in the avatar , or you can make Sentry . For me you can make an edit of Wolvenom or use Talbain etc.... But the work has to be all yours on the sprites . They could have new bases , or just an original pose . It has to look different than anything we've seen of that character . You can use any stage you want , that doesn't have to be sprited by you . But the more sprites you put in your scene the better .

This week is very challenging & will put all your skills to the test . Good Luck . I hope many of you give this a shot .

hmm...very interesting...specially because some of us had/have multiple sprites on their swords(Acey had the girl and phoenix wright,i had Iron Spidey,Spiderman and now three diff megamans,Sabaki and Strider,Kenji and Ibuki)

I think you should see how much interest there is 1st. If I were a spriter I dont know if this idea would be interesting enough for me.

if there won't be enough entries , I will change the theme to option 2 , tomorrow .

You could also have something to the effect of "choose one of the following themes:"

theme 1.
theme 2.

etc.

If you have theme 1, I recommend allotting more time than a week.

I'm honestly not too clear on what we'd be spriting. Not many seem to be interested also, so I'm gonna have to say go with theme #2.

I don't quite get the idea of the contest. Is it Rip the sprites of others edit them and place them in a stage scene? Or are you allowed to use your own sprites and put them in a stage scene?

It's make your own sprites .

First post has been updated with an alternate theme . So you can sprite either theme

Not really, custom can mean from scratch, no base used. It can mean original, but doesn't necessarily have to. Original is something that is your own character.

Thanks, I think thats a good idea, to have both, that way if you want to make something big youve got that, or if you want to make one sprite, you got the other

Of course, i already have something good in mind for the contest. As for Tyris, check the edits in my thread, not the last one but the one just before. The lady edited from Jill in bikini with a sword (she's from Golden Axe).

I only really ever knew them as guy, chick, and dwarf.

Everyone please try to get your submissions in before 1 minute to midnight . Possibly about 10:00 pm eastern time .

I went to a midnight showing of Watchmen last night & barely got any sleep because I had to goto work . I may not be up at midnight to post them then . I would like to start the thread a little earlier .
