LOW RES STAGES ON HI RES MUGEN

ok i know that this has  probably been asked before. IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO MAKE LOW -RES STAGES WORK ON HI-res MUGEN?!  AND IF THERE IS COULD SOMEONE MAKE A TUTORIAL OR SOMETHING?

hey what's good, x_mad80.

The only thing that makes a stage "hires" is the line "Hires=1" on the stage's definiton file. Which means that all of the stage (sprites) elements get scaled down by half.

You can try doubling the size of sprites in the stage and adding the line HIres = 1 under your stages [StageInfo] or you can try using Winmugen Plus. The only drawback of Windows Mugen Plus is that the selectscreen,lifebar and fonts used in must be hi-res.

so you are saying that winmugen plus has to have a hi-res screenpack?  :|

Correct.

But you think about being able to use both hi-res, and normal-res stages, plus a high resolution select screen on mugen... I think it's worth in the end.  :-??
