It was a first attempt, once things are in place I can always touch them up.

One thing about Sam Kieth's art style is that is doesn't follow a defined standard (Most visibly noticable with the different mask proportions between segments). While some shots of his claws are more proportioned like a thick sickle, others have greater intensity and sharpnes like an ice pick. Still I don't see much need to alter it unless you care you pinpoint out where/what part bothers you the most.

I'm more concerned with building new animations outside of it's basic Hulk stucture (IMHO) then to re-render the pixels of his claws to a precision "T"...

Yeh.. Something with the fact of it going from a basic Hyper attack with projs that are landing on the opponent (The izz's) and going into a Hyper grab. I know that it needs to be coded with a target bind "hitcount" of some perimeter.... but i have yet to figure out what code i am missing to manually tell it that on certain frames of the grapple that the hit counter needs to gp up and continue into the slam. Persistance maybe?

Loving the new stuff. Especially impressed with how well you made the Zangief sprites fit with Hulk's. Though, in some of the sprites it still seemed like he had the lines for his briefs there. I think adding the bottom of his abs should fix most of that. In any case, great job so far and good luck. If ya need my help on anything, I'm a PM away. :)

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

Been going over the latest defs and got some more sprites rolling out for The Maxx. Nothing too big, just a new intro concept

Imma also be incorporating more special moves shortly... as for now, The Maxx has more Hypers then specials being that his special moves count is only at 2. I have at least one new ideal i'll be working on once i get this post out and will be sure to let you guys know as for feedback.


Again, it's not to late, if you have any ideals of moves you could see working for this guy, im all ears to give it a shot!  :thumbsup:

suggestion for a special. a move similar to mgmurrow's hulk where in the air he flies at p2 spinning with a headbutt attack.

but for the maxx, have his arms extended and hit with the claws in that motion.

another, sarah's pink isz flies in an explodes on contact.

Anyways The Maxx's has a new 3rd Special on the way, frankenspirted from Hulk moves.. I'm feelin it and i think it will look good once all the sprites become unified..

Completed that new Intro animation, new Special move and coding anew Hyper for The Maxx...

 Hyper: Outback Flashback, protecting the jungle queen at all cost.
